Jorge Prince will be speaking.  

The Bemidji Area Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship America will be meeting on Saturday June 5th at Mt. Zion Church beginning at 8:00 am. Come early and join in on the worship, testimonies and fellowship with the men and women for this time of refreshing in the Lord. Our Guest Speaker will be Bemidji Mayor Jorge Prince from Bemidji, MN. 

Jorge Prince writes: As a young man, I grew up in the church and accepted God’s gift of salvation at an early age, attended a Christian school and participated in numerous mission trips but never had a personal relationship with Jesus. I became aware of many Christians that preached one thing on Sunday and lived differently, creating a deep hurt and disillusionment in me that caused me to turn my back on God, living that way from ages 18 to 27. After having been married for a time, my wife and mother pressured me to go to my mother’s church which I finally did in 2000. That’s where I had my first real encounter with God and experienced my first real relationship with Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. He changed me from the inside, allowing me to experience His love, abundant peace and to discover an ongoing dynamic relationship with Him that continues to every day of my life.

Jorge Prince is Chief Financial Officer and partner at LaValley Industries; a manufacturer of heavy equipment including the highly successful DECKHAND® and TONGHAND® product lines. He is also an active partner in several Bemidji based firms including LVI Supply, Evolve Creative, and IdeaWorks.  Jorge holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bemidji State University and is certified as an Economic Development Finance Professional. In his career, Mr. Prince has held a number of senior management positions with companies such as 3M, Minntex Investments, and Ashland Oil.  He has also served in the public sector as Executive Director of the Small Business Development Center at Bemidji State University. Mr. Prince serves on a number of task forces, committees and Boards throughout the US and now serves as the Mayor of Bemidji. He and his wife have two sons and make their home in Bemidji, where they dare to “Dream Big”. Come on Saturday June 5th  at 8:00 am. for a time of fellowship with fellow Christian men and women.
