November 2nd ~ James Rantala

James writes: 
I was born on May 14, 1982 to my father Erick and my mother Wendy.​
I first accepted Jesus into my life at the age of ten years old at a tent revival meeting put on by R.W. Schambach. My teenage years were tumultuous, and I found myself going the way of the world, until God got a hold of me at the end of my time in college. I surrendered my life to Christ in the bedroom of my apartment and my life drastically changed. A few years later my mother passed, and I found myself in a spiritual funk. A year later I found the beautiful woman I would marry, and we have now been married 5 years and have 4 amazing children. God has truly blessed and restored my life since my mother’s passing.​

I have worked in the fitness industry for the past 6 and a half years. ​
I am involved with the men’s ministry at Bemidji First Assembly and I have recently joined the prayer team. My wife and I attended a Todd White Power and Love conference this past Summer where we participated in Spirit led street ministry and were involved firsthand with healings and deliverance. We believe normal Christianity should look like doing the works that Jesus did, and doing even greater works! We are passionate to see the Body of Christ awaken to its true identity.
