For July, as we celebrate our freedom from the British, we are reminded how God wants to bring people to have freedom in Christ.  We will be having two people sharing briefly of their most recent short term mission experiences in June.
 
My name is Jeyshua Bush, I am 27 years old I was born and raised in Bemidji MN
Recently the Lord has put it on my heart to do a short-term mission trip. I will be part of a prayer team praying for a specific city in the middle east. We are tilling the soil for new believers, praying for the people to come to Christ and walking the city in prayer and see what the Lord puts on our hearts!! I will be leaving on the 14th of this month. I am looking forward to a time of prayer and am excited to see what the Lord does through us.
 
My name is Herb Bromenshenkel, I am 60 years old, and have most recently doing short term missions with GHO (Global Health Outreach), where I work as a pharmacist with a team of doctors, nurses, dentist.  I will be in Rwanda with a team during the last part of June.  I will be sharing my testimony of how God made it clear he wanted me to do a short-term mission trip.  How he revealed himself to me while there and specific messages he has taught me.  I have done over 20 short-term missions in locations including Belize, Kenya, Zambia, Malawi and now Rwanda.

 My name is Jonny Spradling Sr. I am a husband, father of 4, and grandfather of 4. I have been married going on 7 years however we have been together going on 23 years. Outside of shepherding my family, l am a Para Professional at Cass Lake Bena Elementary and an Evangelist. Most importantly, I am a grateful child of God!
 
I attended Oak Hills Christian College in the Pastoral program. I started my internship at Cass Lake Bena Alliance, under the leadership of the Elders board, the deacons, and Reverend Mark Little Elk.
 
I have been called into Native American Ministry via Leach Lake Reservation. To be better equipped for my calling, I will be attending this fall The Indigenous Academy of Ministries (I AM) College in Oklahoma City Oklahoma this fall.
 
The main message of my testimony is that God can, will, and has transformed me from a "Hopeless Dope Dealer, To A Dope Less Hope Dealer"! I enjoy serving the community in several ways: I seek
opportunities to serve area youth camps. I have assisted with our local Archery Ministry called "Warriors Rise".
 
I have drove the church bus and picked up those in need of transportation to church. Most importantly, I love Preaching the Gospel and Evangelizing any chance | get!

My name is Jason Riggs, and I am the elected Beltrami County Sheriff.  I was born in Bemidji but grew up and graduated high school in Deer River, MN. l enlisted in the United States Navy in 1990 where I served until 1995.  I enlisted in the MN Army National Guard from 1996 to 2001. I am a graduate of the Hibbing and Range Technical College for Law Enforcement. I started my MN law enforcement career in 2000. I moved back to this area in 2002. I was the Chief of Police for the City of Blackduck from 2002 to 2004. I have worked for the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office since 2004. My wife Kate (of 27 years) and I have 6 children varying in ages from 25 down to 8. I consider myself a servant leader and have devoted my life to public safety and the communities in which I work and live. I enjoy Hockey, Archery, Hiking, Camping, Hunting and Fishing

Hello, my name is David Eslaminazari, and I'm honored to have this opportunity to share my journey with you. I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran-a city of nearly 10 million people. I graduated high school with a focus on mathematics and physics, but in 2020-21, I decided to pursue higher education in the United States. After learning English and applying to colleges, I traveled to Armenia to obtain my visa, where I ended up staying for over two months before finally arriving in Bemidji to study music at BSU.
I grew up not believing in God, but everything changed during my time in Armenia. While staying with a local family who rented me a room, l was introduced to Jesus for the first time. That encounter set me on a path that led to a deep and personal faith. When I arrived in Bemidji, I connected with the House of Prayer, where I met incredible people who helped me grow even more in my relationship with Christ.
I look forward to sharing more of my story with you and diving into the incredible ways God has worked in my life.

​My name is Jeyshua Bush, I am 27 years old and a lover of Jesus. 

I have 3 siblings, a brother-in-law and a nice who is almost 2.  We have lived in Bemidji my entire life.  My parents brought us to church, revival meetings, Bible studies and our family has been involved with ministry as long as I can remember.   I think I was about 5 when I asked Jesus into my heart.

In the past few years, I have helped with singing, leading worship, and taking the lead at various college age ministry groups.  I also lead worship at my church.

Currently I am working at Cass Lake Elementary as a para educator in a Sped room.  I am thankful to have a Christian principle who encourages the staff to share God's light and love with the students.

Outside of work I enjoy hanging with my family, being outside, playing various sports and chilling with my friends.   I also enjoy Bible studies.  Currently I am leading a men's Bible study with mostly young adults attending.  I also enjoy coordinating/organizing events.  One of my favorites was the 50-hour worship tent in Bemidji.

My goal is to continue event coordinating, raising up leaders in Christ, and hopefully igniting a spark that spreads to the world.

 Dr. Ryan O'Leary is a member of the Bois Forte Band of Ojibwe in northern MN. Ryan has also been married to his wife Kristen for over 21 years and has four children. Ryan grew up playing hockey and eventually played collegiately at the University of Denver and was drafted to play professionally by the Calgary Flames in the 4th round back in his draft year.  Along with Ryan's hockey background, he also has an extensive ministry background having served as a lead pastor for two congregations for a total of about 13 years. Ryan currently works for a global missions organization and leads two ministries while he is based out of Bemidji where he and his family reside. First, Ryan leads a ministry called the, "First Peoples Initiative",  which involves developing a ministry to all of the First Peoples groups in North America with there being around 9.5 million tribal members in the U.S. and about another 2 million First Nations people in Canada. Ryan also serves as President of the National Association of Native Evangelicals here in the United States and serves on the National Association of Evangelicals board of directors based out of Washington D.C.

Daunten Veit will be speaking.
Daunten Is the originator of the Man-Up North Conference and Expo that will be held this coming January 24-26th at the Sanford Centre in Bemidji.

Daunten is the pastor at Northern Lakes Church in Nevis and the owner of Boxter Machinery.  He has led teaching tours to Israel and has ministered in Europe, Mexico and Africa.

Close to home, he is heavily involved with the Tokata and Diamond Willow ministries on the Crow Creek reservation.  The biggest calling on Daunten's life is to raise men up for which they were created.

Daunten and his wife Dawn of 35 years have 5 children and one granddaughter.  They have made Nevis their home for the last 27 years.

Jack write: I grew up in South Minneapolis and attended Roosevelt High School.  I was a member of Hope Lutheran church.   I spent summers at my grandfather’s farm working  and selling eggs and produce to neighbors in South Minneapolis. Boy Scouts were a BIG part of my life. I served in the US Army during, but not in Vietnam. I worked in and around the Minneapolis/St, Paul International Airport for most of my career. My wife Sherry and I will be married for 40 years in November. We have 4 grown children and in February are expecting our 13th grandchild. We are SO blessed! I am in my 40th year of knowing Jesus Christ as my personal savior and adopted son of a Triune God. What a blessing that is! Our family moved to Bemidji to purchase Joe's Lodge in 1998.1 was elected to the Ten Lake Town Board for 2 terms and served on the Beltrami County Board for 14 years. The Lord has been such a tremendous and central part of my life and a HUGE blessing to our growing family!
