August 7 - Marvin Johnson

We are back to Beltrami Electric!

Our featured guest speaker for August 7th meeting is Marvin Johnson from Bemidji and originally from Virginia, MN

Marvin grew up attending a Lutheran Church and was saved at 15 years old.   He credits a youth group and their home fellowship group for his growth and maturing in his faith and his love for Jesus Christ as  his Savior.

He attended BSU for 4 years during which time he met his wife of 44  years.

They then moved back to Virginia when he started working int eh mine until the big layoff in 1981.   He then spent the next 7 1/2 years raising their 2 kids.

He was rehired back to the mine in 1989 and after 30 years retired and along with his wife felt called to move here to Bemidji where they are actively involved in ministry at the Bemidji First Assembly of God Church.

His testimony is one of faith in Jesus who always meets every need and leads in remarkable ways.
