October 3rd 2020 Meeting: Philip Rose

The Bemidji Area Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship America will be meeting on Saturday October 3rd at MT ZION CHURCH, 414 Lincoln Avenue SE beginning at 8:00 a.m.  Use the entrance adjacent to the North parking lot. Coffee and donuts will be served.  Come and join in on the worship, testimoniesand fellowship with the men and women for this time of refreshing in the Lord.  We will observe all Social Distancing recommendations as well as other recommendations.
 
Our guest speaker is Philip Rose from Bemidji.  He and his wife recently moved here from California to be closer to their son, Paul, who is Pastor at Bemidji First Assembly in Nymore. They have 3 sons, all of whom are Pastors, and 14 grandchildren.


Philip accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in a Fox Hole in Vietnam.  He told the Lord that if He would get him out of this Foxhole in Vietnam alive, that he would serve Him all of the days of his life, God did and Philip has served Him ever since.

He served in the military for a total of 25 years including the US Army from 1969- 1972;  3 years as a Combat Engineer, 1 year tour of duty in Vietnam, and served 8 months in Germany as well as in manyother countries.  From 1986-2008 he served in the Air Force at March Air Force Base in Moreno, California: 2 tours of duty in Kuwait and Kryquestan, worked with the Secret Service on Transportation in Support of a Presidents Wife, assembled weapons including bombs, laser guided bombs, tested missiles and ejector seats for fighter planes.He retired in 2008 as a Chief Master Sargent, E-9.

From 2009-2014 he worked as a Security Guard at a High School in California.  
He also taught Adult Sunday School for 7 years, Junior High Kids Klub for 4 years, and
 attended Chicago Bible College to be a Marriage Counselor.

Come on Saturday October 3rd to Mt. Zion at 8:00 a.m. for a time of fellowship with fellow

Christian men and women. You will be informed, refreshed, challenged and blessed.
